Aikido is a Japanese martial art that blends and harmonizes with an attack. It uses dynamic movements to unbalance an attacker and apply joint-locks, pins, and unbalancing throws to render an attacker harmless.

GUTS: Self Defense for the Modern Woman

We offer tailored classes that teach entry-level self defense techniques to women. No martial arts experience is necessary.

Donovan Waite

Waite Sensei is one of the few, and one of the youngest, Westerners to hold the rank of 7th Dan and have been certified as a Shihan (Master Instructor).

Anthony Fiore

Tony Fiore started practicing Aikido in 1982 at Temple University under the direction of Kancho Yukio Utada Shihan of Aikido Association of North America.

Ken Cadogan

Kenneth Cadogan began his Aikido training in January of 1995 under the instruction of Jim Walsh.
